Prathana Mahanta, March 22: Water is one of the crucial parts of the earth. It is required part of our lives. The theme of World Water Day 2022 is ‘Ground Water: Making The Invisible Visible’. March 22 is celebrated as World Water Day to upraise awareness about the weightiness of sustainable management of water.
World Water Day is promoted worldwide by UN agencies to make people familiar with the critical issues of water management. This day is celebrated as an annual event to raise sensitivity about the significance of water conservation. We should never waste water since it is needed on the earth. Water is required to grow food, provide power and so forth. Mandatory steps should be taken to reduce water pollution.
Accordingly, it is said that water is the soul of the earth. American author Stephen Johnson added, ”Water is lifeblood of our bodies, our economy, our nation and our well-being.”
