The banned militant outfit ULFA-I claimed responsibility for the recent grenade blasts in Sivsagar and Tinsukia

The banned militant outfit ,United Liberation front of asom- independence (ULFA-I)claimed responsibility for the recent grenade blasts in Sivsagar and Tinsukiya districts.The two grenade blasts  occurred on November 22 and December 9.The exploitation took place in Tinsukia on november 22 near the entrance of the Army Camp in Dirak.The second blast occurred at the 149CRPF Camp near Joysagar in Sivasagar.

In  a statement issued on Sunday evening ,the Militant group also warned  Assam Director General of Police G.P. Singh against claiming the state police as the ” ancestral property”.The ULFA-I threatened the top cop to carry out more grenade attacks if he did not stop his arrogance. The outfit said in the statement that the two operations that we undertook are just a mere reaction to the egotism that G.P. Singh has shown . further they also threaten that the ULFA-I can conduct any kind of operation at any place if he doesn’t stop considering the Assam Police as his ancestral property.
