Digital Desk, August 23: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has met President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on August 23. It may be noted that this is the very first visit of Sonia Gandhi after Draupadi Murmu was elected as the President of India.
Congress did not support Murmu during the Presidential election. They discussed about democracy and the growth of economy after Covid-19 pandemic.
In this regard, President’s Secretariat wrote on microblogging site Twitter, ”President, Indian National Congress Sonia Gandhi called on President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.”
