Samajwadi Party’s Leader Dimple Yadav takes oath as Lok Sabha MP

On 12 December, Monday , Newly elected Dimple Yadav, the leader of Samajwadi Party took oath as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha after the victory of Mainpuri. Dimple Yadav defeated BJP candidate Raghu raj Singh Shakya by over 2.5 lakh votes in Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri and become the first women MP from Mainpuri. 

Dimple Yadav won the Mainpuri Parliamentary by poll in Uttar Pradesh on December 8, This the Dimple Yadav’s second term as member of parliament,  Also she served as Lok Sabha MP twice from Kannanuj from may 2012-2019 as Party’s candidate.

She is the wife of Samajwadi Party’s president and former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav. As Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency is home field of Yadav’s Family she has chosen as candidate for Mainpuri Lok Sabha by election.
