Ratan Tata’s new animal hospital under pet project in Mumbai will be launched soon

Industrial Ratan Tata is now 86 years old and at this stage of age, his dream project is ready to be launched. The project is a ‘ pet project’, under which an animal hospital established in Mumbai and will be launched in March 2024.

This hospital by Tata trust built on land allotted by MCCG (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai), it is the first hospital of its kind, spreaded over 98,000b square feet. This 5 storey hospital has a capacity of more than 200 beds. 24 hours services will be provided to the animals with the mission of saving their lives. At this hospital the focus will be on specialized treatments by globally renowned veterinarians, trained nurses and technicians with a human approach to quality care.

On the upcoming launch of an animal hospital under Pet Project in Mumbai, Chairman of Tata Trusts Ratan Tata said “Pets are our family and their lives matter to every pet parent. When I looked around and saw the lack of infrastructure for pets in India, it made me wonder why, in such a large country with a significant pet population, we cannot have a facility that can save lives and make pets’ lives better. The small Animal Hospital aims to be one such facility with specialized facilities to provide every pet with care, love, and a human approach.”
