Digital Desk, May 2: President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Assam on May 4 to attend the 61st annual conference of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha at Tamulpur. The three-day Bodo Sahitya Sabha conference will begin from Monday. Notably, Bodo language is spoken by a large number of people of Assam as well as Bangladesh, Nepal, Tripura, Nagaland and West Bengal.
The BSS has already released their theme song ahead of the event. They have also made indispensable arrangements to make the conference successful one. Almost 4,000 people from all over the world are expected to participate the BSS conference at Kachubari, Tamulpur under Bodoland Territorial Region. Toren Boro, President, BSS expressed, ”This would be a historic occasion as no President of India has ever attended any literary event of any language in the Northeast region.
