PM CARES fund : PM Modi launches 35 PSA oxygen plants across India’s states and territories

Saswati Sarma , Rishikesh , October 7 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated 35 pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen plants , set up under the PM CARES fund , across 29 states and 7 union territories in an event at AIIMS Rishikesh. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya were also present on the occasion and commended PM Modi’s efforts in boosting health infrastructure covering the entire nation. 
Addressing the event , Modi declared that the government is doing it’s best to elevate health infrastructure ranging from production of masks and protective kits to development of vaccine across the country , and highlighted their progress in such a brief time displays India’s capabilities. 
Till now the aggregate of 1,224 PSA oxygen plants have been funded under PM CARES fund over the nation while more than 1,100 plants have been commissioned granting an output of about 1,750 MT oxygen per day.
