Guwahati, December 24: Kamrup Metropolitan District Administration has launched an online portal called Swagatam. The portal has launched by Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup Metropolitan District, Pallav Gopal Jha in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Deputy Commissioner, National Information Science Centre (Kamrup Metropolitan) officials etc at the district collector’s office.
Inaugurating the portal, he said that the portal has been launched to avoid wasting precious times of the people in the name of meeting a Deputy Commissioner or other senior officials of district administration and also to serve the people easily.
A person can register on the kamrupmetro.swagatam.gov.in portal and get appointments of Deputy Commissioner or other senior officials of district administration as per his consvenience. The person will be informed of the new time if the prescribed appointment is cancelled.
