Pele The Greatest Brazilian Footballer Passes away at 82

The Greatest of all time the Brazilian Footballer ‘Pele’ whose given name was Edson Arantes do Nascimento died at 82 in Sao Paulo on Thursday, 29 December 2022. He had diagnosed with Colon Cancer  in 2021 . His death left a shadow of sorrowing in the football world.

He was a world scored recored of 1,281 goals and is the only player to win the World Cup three times ( in 1958, 1962 and 1970) . He was also the former minister of sports. Pele’s journey is inspiring for many young Footballers. From kicking of his career in Barefoot poverty to becoming one of the greatest athletes of modern sports. 

Cristiano Ronaldo , Messi , Neymar and more tributes Pele and Wembley arch lit up in Brazil colors in tribute to the legendary Football Icon Pele.
