Mumbai, January 6: Mumbai court has dismissed Javed Akhtar’s demand of non-bailable warrant against Kangana Ranaut on January 5. ”The court rejected the demand for issuance of a non-bailable warrant. The next hearing will be on February 1 at Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate,” added by Akhtar’s lawyer Jay Bhardwaj.
Notably, a criminal defamation complaint was filed by Javed Akhtar against Kangana Ranaut on November 3 2020 for dragging his name in her tussle with actor Hrithik Roshan. It is worth mentioning here that the lyricist has taken objection to certain remarks made by Ranaut during an interview on a television news channel.
