Lucknow, January 20: Aparna Yadav, the daughter-in-law of founder-patron of Samajwadi Party Mulayam Singh Yadav joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday in the presence of top political leaders like Keshav Prasad Maurya, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Swatantra Dev, UP BJP Chief. Aparna Yadav praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the joining ceremony by saying, “I am very thankful to BJP. The nation always comes first for me. I admire Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s work.”
“I will continue to be the daughter-in-law of the Yadav family and will fulfill all responsibilities”, stated Aparna Yadav adding that the BJP leadership would take a call on from where she would contest and regions she may be sent to for campaigning. It is mentionable that Aparana Yadav contested the elections from Brahmin dominated Lucknow Cantonment seat as a Samajwadi Party candidate but lost to BJP’s Rita Bahuguna Joshi in the year 2017.
