Maharashtra government to face floor test today; Aaditya Thackeray terms this as a morality test

Digital Desk, July 4: Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government will face floor test today; however Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray has termed the floor test as a morality test for the MLAs. BJP’s Rahul Narwerkar- a first time MLA was elected as the Maharashtra Assembly Speaker on Sunday. Notably, Eknath Shinde’s 11-day rebellion leads to the fall of Uddhav Thackeray-led Maharashtra government.

Eknath Shinde was appointed as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, on the other hand, Devendra Fadnavis was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Eknath Shinde held a meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP MLAs and party leaders to discuss about their course of action for the floor test. And Devendra Fadnavis added that they will prove 166 votes.
