New Delhi,July 24: President of India Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday called Maharashtra governor Bhajat sing Koshyari to expressed his concern over the loss of life and property in the state due to rains and floods.
The governor inform him to undertake relief works to less severe of the people’s plight ,governor had also discussed over the loss of life and property in the state due to rains and floods.
Around 44 bodies have been recovered from the landslide and 35 people were injured are under the treatment.
Maharashtra minister of social welfare Vijay wadettiwar mitigate relief and rehabilitation ,he says 136 accidental deaths have been reported in Maharashtra.
Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday announced ex gratia of 5 lakh each for those who lost their lives in landslide. According to CMO the state will also incur the cost of treatment for those injured.
