‘Switzerland of India’ Manipur has been torn
Guwahati December, 7: Since 03 May, Manipur has been marred clashes between the Meitei and Kuki communities, with recent outbreak claiming the lives of at least 13 innocence Meitei Village Volunteers have been killed by Kuki Narco Terrorists in point -blank shot, near Letithu village in Tengnoupal District. The killing videos of the innocence Meitei village volunteers are viral in social Medias now. According to sources, it was believed that the victims were caught them somewhere then the kukis terrorists brought them to Letithu villages and killed them after torturing brutally.
After the heartbreaking videos are viral the Meira Paibis (women association), many ima lup (mother’s associations), organization, associations have been starting protesting and shouting many slogans against the BJP, lead N.Biren government everywhere in Manipur. All vendors of Khwairamband Keithel and shops and other business establishment here in Imphal shuts their stalls and shop and mourn the murdered of 13 Meiteis. The emas gathered and paid respect to those departed soul and questioned the reason for killing the people who are mostly under 30 years. A Keithel vendor lady (Ema) also questioned the N. Biren Singh government the reason for his inability to secure the lives of the people of the state.
Relating to in this incident, a bereaved mother, whose child fell victim to the Kuki Militant attack, said, “I won’t cry for my son’s death. Many youths have lost their lives—they are all my sons. Today, I will cry for our motherland, Manipur. Their homeland, urging all the youth to stand up for Manipur. Proudly declaring, “I am proud that my son lost his life for the motherland,” she echoed a poignant call for solidarity and resilience in the face of adversity.

The main cause of this crisis is illegal migrants kukis from Myanmar, who come in Manipur due to the ethnic crisis of Myanmar. Nowadays the Manipur crisis is becoming internal security threat of India, Many Myanmar’s underground groups involve the crisis. The ongoing conflict has been taken nearly 200 lives and around 50,000 people displaced.
