Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Visit Varanasi Tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will vist Varanasi Tomorrow to inaugurate 3884 crore worth of development projects. He will arrive at Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airports at 10 am and will stay for approximately two and a half hours. Modi will head directly to Mehdiganj for a public meeting after landing. PM Modi will inaugurate 19 completed projects worth Rs 1,629.13 crore and lay the foundation for 25 new projects worth Rs 2,255.05 crore, with the foundation laying by the PM, work on ambitious projects such as the construction of an underpass road tunnel on the Varanasi—Lucknow highway, construction of the MSME Unity Mall, a road bridge between Varanasi Ring Road and Sarnath, and flyovers at Bhikharipur and Manduadih crossings will begin. Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma said ‘’According to the initial itinerary, The PM will arrive to take part only in the public meeting at Mehdiganj around 12 noon on April 11. He will inaugurate completed projects and lay the foundation for new projects at the same venue.

The total amount for the 44 projects, including 19 project worth Rs 1,629.13 crore to be inaugurated and the foundation laying of 25 project worth Rs 2,255.05 crore, is Rs 3,884.18 crore. The PM would return after a stay of around two and a half hours.
