Digital Desk, August 24: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the Integrated Traffic Management System under the City Police Commissionerate for Traffic Management and Control on August 23 from ITMS Control Room, Ulubari.
The ITMS will help in checking traffic violations and montoring and cntrolling traffic signals. ITMS will cover 94 junctions in the final phase, however, it will cover 20 junctions from Nepali Mandir to Khanapara. To record all the activities at the junctions, the CCTV cameras are installed.
Himanta Biswa Sarma was accompanied by Ashok Singhal, Pabitra Margherita, DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta and other senior officials during the inauguration programme.
