Digital Desk, August 12: A boy from Assam namely Gautam Deka won the first position in a photography competition organised by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). This was an astrophotography competition. This was held on the occasion of International Moon Day on July 20.
Gautam Deka comes from Mangaldai. In 2012, he started his photography journey and astrophotography journey in 2013. Significantly, Moonshot was the essence of the photography competition. In Moonshot, the photographer is asked to take shots of the moon.
Moonshot is truly an artistic exploration. Gautam Deka took the shots of the moon on the occasion of Guru Purnima from his native place Mangaldai.
