‘Promise to bring peace’ as Rahul Gandhi begins Nyay Yatra in Manipur

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday, Jan 14 began Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from which will start from Manipur to Mumbai and will cover a total distance of 6700kms and travel through 15 states and 100 Lok Sabha constituencies of the country before ending on March 20 or 21. Gandhi Started the Yatra by first paying tributes at the Khongjom War Memorial in Thoubal district of Manipur.

“Maybe for Narendra Modi, BJP and RSS, Manipur is not part of India” the congress MP said criticizing PM Modi for not visiting Manipur. The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra day 4 resumed early Tuesday from VK Town, Zunheboto in Nagaland on Wednesday at 9am which will culminate at Aohadang Ground Tuli, Mokokchung. 

Among those 15 states the Yatra in Assam is an 8 day journey of 833km from January 18-25 which will enter Assam from Nagaland via Amguri and proceed to Majuli. Following the day Rahul Gandhi will visit Lakhimpur and will conclude on January 25 at Bakshirhat in Dhubri. it will cover total 17 districts of Assam in eight days.
