Bangladesh invited Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to visit Dhaka

Digital Desk, July 20: The Chief Minister’s office, Guwahati confirmed that Bangladesh invited Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to visit Dhaka. It may be noted that Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Kalam Abdul Momen said in a letter written on July 5, ”The visit would provide both sides a better understanding of the development work that are taking place in Bangladesh.” 

Notably, Abul Kalam Abdul Momen had visited Assam during third conference of NADI-3 (Natural Allies in Development and Interdependence). Aman further added, ”Bangladesh has achieved socio-economic advancement under the able and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina. Bangladesh has been among the fastest growing economics of the world over the past decade.”
