Digital Desk, January 28: Bandit Queen is based on the book, India’s Bandit Queen: The True Story of Phoolan Devi by the Indian author Mala Sen. Bandit Queen completes 28 years of release. Bandit Queen becomes a source of reference for filmmakers since it showed Seema Biswas’s prowess in acting.
A major credit goes to the casting director Timangshu Dhulia. The cast of Bandit Queen included Manoj Bajpayee, Gajraj Rao, Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Srivastava etc. All of them were brilliant in their respective roles. “This film was like a big party for us, for all the three months we were in Chambal,” added by Manoj Bajpayee.
