Digital Desk, August 10: ”Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has the vision to make Assam self-sufficient in the power sector. The government of India will try its best to make the Chief Minister translate his vision into reality,” Pralhad Joshi, Union Coal Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Minister said during the function for an MoU signed between NLC India Ltd and APDCL for 100 MW Renewable Energy Project.
Regarding this, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that we should think and act in furnistic line. The State Government has also planned to develop a coalfield in some other state and generate power there to meet our power sector demand.
