Aimee Baruah’s ‘Semkhor’ shines at National Film Awards

Digital Desk, July 23: The prestigious National Film Awards is announced on July 22. Many talented people from the region shine at the 68th National Film Awards. It may be noted that popular actress of the state, Aimee Baruah’s feature film  ‘Semkhor’ has bagged the Best Dimasa Film and also Rajat Kamal in the 68th National Film Awards.

Meanwhile, the actress has bagged Jury’s Special Mention Award in the 68th National Film Awards declared on Friday. It may be noted that Semkhor is directed by the actress herself. The story is written by talented lyricist, writer, Sasanka Samir. The film basically represents various customs and folks of Semkhor who unpretentiously stay untouched from the outside world.
