Three held while attempting to join ULFA-I

Guwahati, November 22: Three youths from Assam were apprehended by Assam Rifles in Nagaland’s Mon district while they were allegedly heading to join the militant outfit United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I). Three youths were heading to ULFA-I camp in Myanmar through the bordering area.
They have been identified as Himanta Neog, who hailed from Sadiya, Bikash Deka, who hailed from Udalguri, and Arindam Bora, who hailed from Tinsukia. Assam Rifles interrogated them at their camp and will now be handed over to Assam Police for furthermore actions.
