Saswati Sarma , Ghaziabad , October 8 : Indian Air Force (IAF) chief Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari on Friday has presented the Vayu Sena Medal – Gallantry to its officers on 89th IAF anniversary at Hindan airbase.
The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has saluted and extended greetings to the brave ”air warriors” and honoured the IAF by stating that it is synonymous with courage, diligence and professionalism. Modi acknowledges the air warriors by attaching a series of pictures in his tweet to mark several feats performed by the IAF throughout the years.
On this occasion , the parade was held at Hindan Air Base in Uttar Pradesh. The air exhibition started with flag-bearing skydivers of the prominent AKASH GANGA Team unfolding in their colorful shades and dropping out of AN-32 aircraft.
