Chief Minister’s Fellows met with the Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University on March 3, 2025 to discuss the Atma Nirbha Asom Abhijan 2.0 Program. The meeting was an interactive session where the fellows shared their experiences and Collaborated with the University. Honourable Chief Minister of Assam Dr Assam Himanta Biswa Sharma has launched Atma Nirbha Abhijan 2.0 under which Rs 2 lakh has been given to those youth basically unskill and Rs 5 lakh have been given to those skill unemployes youth said by Prof, Nani Gopal Mahanta Honourable Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University. The Vice Chancellor gave an overview of the program and its goals, it emphasized the importance of aligning academic resources with state initiatives. Vice Chancellor stressed that empowering fellows with expert guidance would enable them to better support rural entrepreneurs. The programs aims to empower the youth with self employment apportunities.
