Rohit Sharma led India take on Steve Smith’s Australia in the Semi Final of the Champions Trophy at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Champions Trophy 2025 Semi Final is the first ODI match between India and Australia since the 2023 World Cup Final. After winning all three group games, India will play Australia in the first Semifinal in Dubai. However, the game will be anything but easy, as Australia presents a different Challenge in global tournament even without their frontline pacers, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Mitchell Starc. India last triumphed against Australia in the Knockout stage of an ICC event in the 2011 World Cup quarterfinal. India lost to Australia in the 2015 ODI World Cup semifinal and in the 2023 ODI World Cup title clash before succumbing to them in the 2023 World Test Championship Final.
