Government of Assam has approved the merger of the Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Council (AHSEC). The resolution to merge the Assam state boards for classes 10 and 12 was approved on Thursday in a meeting chaired by CM of Assam.
Assam CM shared on X that SEBA and AHSEC will be merged to “develop, regulate and supervise the standard and quality of school education”.
The Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Board (AHSEC) are merged into the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) following approval by the Assam cabinet. Assam government has initiated implementation of the new education policy by introducing changes in the exam patterns.
