Shilchar, 20 sep : National Institute of Technology (NIT) at Shilchar a third-year student identified as Koj Buker was found hanging at his hostel room on Friday.
A violent protest was being held by the students regarding the death of Koj Buker as they said to continue the protest in a democratic manner .
Koj was an electric engineering student from Arunachal Pradesh , hunged himself as he couldn’t clear his back papers . He did requested the authorities to allow him to register for next semester exam but they didn’t allowed him , sources said .
The post-mortem of the student was completed and the body was immediately handed over to the family members as they arrived from Arunachal Pradesh.
Koj’s father spoke to the media regarding the case and requested the Government to help them with the problem. He said that the truth must be revealed and they cannot remain silent . ” It will be a failure on the students community , so I would want to encourage them to continue their protest .” He concluded .
